Tender Mercies of the Lord

Dear Family and Friends 

This past week I have seen quite a few tender mercies of the Lord.

The Lord is in control of all this in our lives.  Last week we had Temple P-day my companion and I got up early to get ready to go to the temple and I couldn't find my wallet anywhere, shortly after I lost that the member who was going to take us to the temple cancelled on us, so I had more time to look for my wallet. We had some other sister help us get around for the day. Then later when we were finished with dinner we tried to find a ride around for the night, we worked it out for a ride that night. My companion was backing upon Sister Kwon who was going to drive us around for the night (Sister Kwon is in a trio and her companions live in their area so they volunteered to help us out.) Someone walked up to Sister Gardner and handed my wallet to her. They told her that he found it by the gate where we go to get to our car, and that his girlfriend had it at his apartment all day. We then went out to work (I know keep my wallet zipped up in my bag. I learned my lesson.) Heavenly Father loves us and is mindful of us. He knows our concerns and answers our prayers.
The next night Sister Tew came out to work with us. When we told her that we didn't get to go to the Temple she gave us permission to go. We found a member to take us to the Temple tomorrow morning.    Also last night we had just gotten done eating dinner a a members house, we left the house early, because they had somewhere they needed to go. Shortly after my companion told me she needed to use the bathroom. We went to a members house but she was not home so we went to another members house. We were able to share a few scriptures and left their spirits. They told us that they needed us there that day.  The Lord is fully aware us each and every one of us. He knows us and what we need. If you are looking for an answer or for help don't give up on the Lord. He WILL help you and he WILL anwser you. The Lord is there for us. I  Love you all and Hope that you have a great week.

Finding Those Who Seek

Dear Family and Friends, 

I am sorry that I didn't tell you that P-day was going to be on Tuesday this week.   This week has been so great. My companion and I had a lot of success finding. We  found 4 new investigators this week. We have a part in our area that we try to avoid at night, this week my companion had a feeling that we needed to go to this area. When we got to a potentials house we had planned for, the house was dark and no one was home, as we were walking up to the house, the potential drive up in her car. We were about to pick her up as a new investigator and also her two sons. One of which we passed off the to YSA Elders.  

There was also another time this week where all of our plans had fallen through, my companion and I prayed and asked Heavenly Father where he wanted us to go, a formers name came to my mind. We went to his house, taught him about the Book of Mormon. He told us that he had wondered about the American people at the time of Christ.  

I know that the Lord is preparing people to hear His gospel. We have been asked to find them. I know that as we look for them that we will find them. I love you all and hope that you all have a great week.

Stake Conference

Dear Family and Friends,

This Sunday we had a Regional Stake Conference. We had a broadcast from Salt Lake City. It was good. We heard from Elder Renlund of the Quorum of the 12.  They talked about how we can keep our Families true to the faith. It was really great to hear.

This week we found a new investigator he is so prepared to hear the Lord'd Gospel. He is exicted to learn. I know that the Lord is watching out for us and that he cares about us. 

The Lord knows our struggles and he will help us to become what he knows that we can become, as we place our trust in him, we can know that he will lead us to where we need to go. If we build upon the rock of our Redeemer and Savior we CANNOT fall. He is a sure foundation. We must keep our eyes focused on him and not look away, but we must rememeber that if we do look away that when we call for his help he will be there to help us up again.

Enjoy it and Love it

Dear Family and Friends,

 I am amazed at how fast time goes. I love this wonderful opportunity I have to serve the Lord. I have been able to see many miracles. I know that God is there to help us find those who are prepared to hear his Gospel. This past week we went on exchanges. Exchanges are when we either go to our STL's area or one of them comes to our area. I got to stay in our area to work. There were many miracles that I saw, one of them that I saw was that we were able to contact a former investigator who was taught before Christmas, my companion and I have been trying to contact her for a while, and on exchanges we contacted her and set up a time that we could come by and meet with her. I know that the Lord is preparing His children to hear His gospel. He will put us in their path or them in ours, we just need to have the faith to open our mouths to talk to them.  Love you all.

Feb 1 Update

Dear Family and Friends,

This week has been crazy. My companion Sister Gardner and I kept our area, but moved to an apartment outside of our area. We have had to do a lot of cleaning in it. It has been quite a busy week for us. 

I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father and that he loves us. I know that he watches over us. I know that he loves us. This week I have been able to see how the Lord us gives strength to those who need it. There is a recent convert who has MS, I have seen the hand of the Lord in her life. I know that the Lord is there to help up left us and to help us to grow. I know that he is there to help us.  I am so grateful for this time that I have to serve the Lord and to help his Children to come closer to him.  I love you all nad hope that you have a wonderful week
